With Memorial Day this past weekend, it’s safe to say I’m officially in SUMMER MODE! But let’s be honest, summer time is always on my mind. I truly feel like the best version of myself between the months of May-September. *Sign me up for all the hot weather!*
With a new season comes new inspiration of course. From the muted colors and softer pallets of Spring, I wanted to transform my inspiration board into a brighter, bolder, more relaxed vibe! When I think of summer I think of deeper blues that remind me of the water, loud patterns that can be mixed and matched (whether that be linens or fashion), florals that are more organic and include variety such as palm leaves and succulents.. psss I’m LOVING this trend… celebrating our country with an ice cold drink in hand, and of course, outdoor wedding season.
I also wanted to touch on the official Pantone Color Of The Year, Coral! For those of you who don’t know know what this is; The LLC, Pantone, is a color matching company, that completes a variety of global studies throughout the year to come up with the official “color of the year”… that they think will influence fashion, design, art, travel, lifestyle, etc. (Totally not going to bore you with how they come up with each color, so good luck googling HA!) For 2019 though, CORAL IT IS!
If you’re anything like me, you’ve waited all year for summer time to kick off. Move over Pumpkin Spice Lattes and chunky knit sweaters… you’re girl is here and ready for a sunburn and a crisp glass of Rose’!
